Bouzy Rouge

Fruity and Intense

From the old vines of Bouzy, our new Coteaux Champenois d’Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée lives up to its reputation.

Our Bouzy Rouge d’assemblage is surprising. The 2022 harvest, matured in vats, adds fruit and flavour, while the reserve wines, aged in oak barrels, add structure and power.

This red has a ruby hue. The colour is slightly tile-red, heralding good maturity.

The first impression of this wine is its structure and aromatic intensity. The first nose reveals notes of morello cherry, blackcurrant and a hint of violet. When aired, the wine reveals spicy notes of pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon.

The palate is full and fruity. The oak ageing fully expresses itself, giving the wine toasty, vanilla flavours. The wood is well blended, leaving a tannic structure that is fairly present but elegant. On the palate, the wine is spicy, with a finish of small black fruits such as blackberries and bilberries.

Let’s take a look at how to enjoy our Coteaux Champenois…
Bouzy Rouge and sausage, quite simply! It’s also good with roasted peanuts!
Red meat, mushrooms, duck breast, poultry… And what about cheese? All cheeses!
Chocolate with Bouzy Rouge! Desserts made with dark chocolate… yum!
Our Bouzy Rouge is a real chameleon, adapting to all your dishes!
